Great and solid Bavarian food. We as there twice, both time the food was excellent and the meat right to the point cooked. The service was friendly and the location, we sat indoors, very nice decorated and clean. No CC accepted!

Lovey views, nice waiter, nice food. However, do not go here for the “dessert plate”, they don’t make it any more because it was “too much work”. That’s actually the reason why we came here twice but will try other places now.

Very good food, price-performance ratio is definitely right. I had fish twice, just great. If we come to the Schliersee again, we will eat here again. Condition was attentive and there was no long wait.

I can absolutely recommend this restaurant! The service is really great, everyone is nice and friendly. It is also nice that our dog is also very welcome there. The lady with blonde hair (unfortunately we don't know the name) always served us well, but everyone else is always super nice and friendly. The food was excellent, since we ate there every two days we could try different things. Meat, fish or pasta - everything was delicious and fresh. We were always excited. For the last three years have always been on short breaks at Schliersee and have already visited a number of restaurants. However, since we discovered the Hofhaus am See two years ago, there has been no other address for us. The quality of the food is excellent and the price / performance ratio is more than perfect. One can only say about the staff, you are all great, always attentive, never seen a bad face, a waiter who always has fun on his lips, you not only feel good here, you notice how welcome the guest is and that Staff wholeheartedly. Many thanks again to Anka for the great time. The names of the rest of the staff are unfortunately not known to us, but a big thank you to you.

Actually, you shouldn't write another very good review because it would be even more difficult to get a table ;-) We have been there several times, the service was always great and the food was very good! I would like to have a few more vegetarian dishes in the future.

A cozy beer garden with a view of the lake, a pleasantly cheerful waiter, great, brisk service, nice advice. The choice of dishes is down-to-earth, but also smart. It has not been so well fed for a long time, out. Top price-performance ratio. This will be our regular place in Schliersee.

Yesterday we went to eat again in the highly recommended restaurant. However, I had a very unpleasant experience, I did not get the dish I ordered. But I was assured that the dish I brought was also very tasty and that no new one could be made anyway. In addition, this was noted and I must have made a mistake when ordering! Hello, I don't like mushrooms and I ordered salmon !! After going back and forth, I also wanted to eat with my husband, in the end I was left with no alternative but to eat what I had brought, even if I don't like it. I was offered a free dessert as an apology that wasn't brought. Instead, an apricot liqueur. The evening and the mood was unfortunately gone, I think it could have been solved nicer. The hint that I can come again tomorrow I thought was cheeky. Conclusion, the guest is definitely wrong. It's a shame, as the Lockal has excellent cuisine and we were always served very nicely.

We young families with one child (14 months) were standing in line with masks in the street at 2 p.m. We didn't push ahead or act rude. In response to a polite request for a seat, the first waitress said that it was not you but your colleague. The colleague, on the other hand, was totally overwhelmed and screamed, if we shouldn't have any seats, everyone who was waiting would be sent home. It is only accepted via reservation. At least I wanted to know if we could get something to take away? I didn't get to that either! It was called "no places available for an indefinite period of time". There were three free tables, a 5 seat on the balcony in the entrance area on the left, a 2 seat and a 4 seat on the terrace The operator put a reserved sign on a table that had just become vacant and ignored us because he was told to do so. What was going on here was extremely unprofessional and all employees Definitely need a better manager with a positive attitude towards guests. You weren't very welcome here. Great food, super nice service - highly recommended. Seldom eaten so well! The menu is well stocked and offers e.g. Homemade pasta and many meat and fish dishes. There were too many great dishes that it couldn't stay with one visit. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance or to try your luck at 5pm.

You just can't complain. Prices are a bit high but the dishes are easy to put in. Have been there twice now. Two different dishes and desserts were always great. Fast at the table and professional service. Maybe the beer selection could be a little bigger. Still 5 *.

We were there yesterday with 4 people. Reservation is advisable. There were various starters and the main dishes were suckling pig, duck and spaghetti. Overall, everything was great, I would rate various dishes as outstanding. Nice beer garden and competent service. Price structure a little higher, but absolutely appropriate for the area and especially for the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately we are 350 km away, otherwise we would certainly be regular guests.

If you make a detour to Schliersee, you should definitely stop here. It's worth it because the food was a dream. But you have to make a reservation, because the beer garden on the lake side is small. The four of us each found something else on the lush map. Whether deer, fish or salad - everything tasted wonderful, but have a look at our pictures! The location is fantastic - between the church and the lake! Good energy Why I only give 4 stars: what I wanted to order was over, even though we were already there at 5:30 pm. You search, you are happy and then the dish is not available ... not good! Very inflexible with special requests and then every dish with salad and no vegetables! I like to eat vegetables!

We arrived at Hofhaus am See at around 12pm on a snowy winter day. Parking was available for free outside the restaurant. Our experience at Hofhaus am See began with a warm welcome at the door. At first glance, the menu was diverse and affordable. The restaurant ambience was peaceful with music playing in the background. The service speed was efficient and we did not need to wait long until our next course arrived. The waiter came to check on us and cleared the tables promptly after we finished. The service was hospitable and the food was simply tasty. We will definitely come again when we have the opportunity to. Thank you for the excellent meal!

The food is delectably good and so is the beer. The setting in front of schliersee lake is perfect. I overspent and gave the jovial serviet an extra tip..worth a visit for sure.
